Here begins a plea to Jagr: BRING BACK THE PUFF-MULLET FOR NEXT SEASON!!!
We all remember the puff-mullet in its glory days, flowing along side Lemieux and Kevin Stevens. Hopefully, a "re-growth" would mean nothing but good fortunes for the Blueshirts next season. Think of the possibilities....a promotional faux puff-mullet give away night at the garden-then having 20000 people launch them onto the ice as Jaromir scores a hat-trick....they could create a puff-mullet player of the game wig; much like Calgary has with their hard-hat--a player could don the puff-mullet for his post-game interviews....perhaps Jagr's success with the puff-mullet could inspire the growth of more puff-mullets, even leading to a feared puff-mullet line. What could be better than that? The line would dominate and receive a majority of the playing time. Then guys, desperate for ice time, would be forced to step up their play and grow their own puff-mullets, so that they would force their way onto the puff-mullet line. And to think...the answer to our woes was sooo easy! I vouch for Josef Balej on the puff-mullet line...about the only thing better than Jagr's p.m. would be Balej's peroxide treated one. Now...only for a center. I don't think Mess has it in him....is Ricci a free-agent? Maybe this is the way to get Lundmark going.
