How good is this guy? This is his draft year, but he's not ranked, and that seems to be because of a pretty bad year statistically. I've never seen him play, but read some good things about him. Is it just because it was his first year in North America? Were expectations higher for him this year, and if so, could he rebound next year? Would a team even think about taking him with a late pick?

If we are talking about the Bobby Williams that played in Swift Current of the WHL. I would definitely consider him a "sleeper" in this year's draft.

I think he is African-American but from Sweden which is different to say the least but I seen him play about 5 or 6 times because my freind, Davin Heintz, also plays with the Broncos and being in Lethbridge (same division) they played each other routinely.

Anyways back to Williams. Take this with a grain of salt but to me he was the "better" Williams on Swift but for some reason he played limited minutes. Obviously Jeremy racked up monstrous points but Bobby's strong points are his skating (speed to burn), aggressiveness (not so much hitting but hard on the puck) and I would even say hockey sense. Whether he knows where the play is going or whether he just gets to places faster than the average Bronco I'm unsure but I liked what I seen from the guy despite playing an 3rd line and 3rd PK role with Swift.

I wouldn't complain if the Oilers took him in the 4-8 rounds...is he ranked by Central Scouting?

No, he's not ranked, so I was wondering if he'd be worth a pick. Thanks for the info. McKeen's had a little bit about him on their site earlier in the year, but it's gone now. They had some pretty good things to say about him.

I saw him twice and he was rarely used and when he was out there didnt do much as it is hard to get into the game and be effectrive when playing minimal minutes.
