Tony Martensson signed a 2 year deal with Linkoping.

He led Cincy in scoring the last two years, but he must have felt that he was not going to be given the opportunity to make the NHL full time in the next 2 years. The CBA issue probably made his decision easier.

He still can be in Anaheim next year, it's said in his contract he can sign with a NHL-team until July 15th.

He seems like a solid playmaker and 2 way player based on his +/-, but I dont think the ducks need a guy like him other than for depth.

The ducks seem like they need one thing or another. They tough players lack any skill (Sever, Burnett) and they seem to have too many softies (Fed, Havelid, Prospal)...
