Going to be one hell of a series, possibly the two most evenly matched teams in the AHL right now. Neither team has a single weakness.

WBS in 7

Chiodo is going to eat them alive, Whitney and Orpik are going to tear it up this series and the Beech-Endicott-Armstrong line that was around at the begging of the season will re-unite....hopefully!

Is Dan Blackburn dressing for the playoffs?

Although Hartford has home ice advantage, the series will open in Wilkes-Barre because the Hartford Civic Center is unavailable (the circus is in town.) Thus, the strange scheduling.

I want to see WBS win er all. Fleury got robbed of a gold medal, and didn't win the Q championship either. Hopefully he and Chiodo will lead the way for the baby Pens.

I don't think it will be, the Pirates are playing that day.

Only like half of the Pirates home games are televised.

Strike that. I checked, and it isn't listed as being shown on TV.

I was looking at the Wednesday game.

Milwaukee has some pretty good prospects on their team

Upshall
Shishkanov
Segal
Haydar
Gamache
Pivko
Hutchinson
Safranov(sp)

Yeah, but WBS is almost nothing but prospects.

Only Marquis Mathieau on the team either has no NHL future or NHL background(I'm not counting the 4 games he played in years ago).

They all do. But they're also led by some veterans like Flaherty and Hrkac.

Well you got two of the three goal scores right for game two!

I would like to note however that the BABY Pens trash talk of an easy series seems to have died out once the playing actually took place. :speechles Yes the Pens are not the only team with NHL prospects on it.

1- Where did anyone say it would be an easy series? All I see are guys saying it would be even.
2- Nobody said the Pens were the only team with prospects on it. Everyone said no team had more prospects (only one player is not considered one).

Don't put words into people's mouths.

Not exactly putting words in other people's mouths at all, except Jacobv2 did say prospect-laden so I do apologize partially to him.

Also just as a side note, the post was put up in good fun to get things stirred up again. People are too quiet when this will turn out to be a great series.

Backpedal? Umm, no both quotes definitely supported my statements.

The "Baby" Pens definitely have more high calibur prospects but that doesn't mean that they are a better team. Hopefully by this time Monday, with the Pack up 3 games to 1, tears will no longer be staining your cheeks.

Funny you chose to ignore these... :amazed:

As for your "prospect-laden", well "partially" apologizing serves no purpose since you weren't "partially" wrong.

for a team that had one of the best regular season records, i wasn't all that impressed with hartford last night. aside from balej, their offense didn't seem too threatening, and labarbera(sp?) saved their d's butts more than a few times. if the pens play to their abilities and chiodo plays well (what the heck was that on the ot goal?), i think the pens can pull this out.
