Any Port Huron Beacons or Richmond RiverDogs fans in here/

I am a big RiverDog fan and I like the Beacons too. Its a shame we both were eliminated though. By Elmira. But the Muskegeon Fury won the Colonial Cup though 4-3 over Elmira. :banana: Thats good to because I didn't want elmira to win because they knocked out the 'Dogs and the Beacons.

I guess I like the Riverdogs since two of the players from my old team (The Miami Manatees) went to go play there.

Pretty good. Perricone worked great with Nasato we made the playoffs but we lost in the playoffs too. Maybe next season.

I'm a huge huge hockey fan, recently relo'd to richmond. I'm sure i'll make it to some games, but I have a tough time getting overly fired up for the UHL.

I've never been to a UHL game, I've been to an ECHL game, and had a good time, so I'd imagine a UHL game should be awight

Richmond suffers from having a terrible hockey venue in the Coliseum. The Renegades went dormant while they're trying to get a better arena built in the Chesterfield area but I have no idea how well they're progressing on that but I'm guessing they aren't doing too well. The major problem I have with the RiverDogs is that they're tickets were more expensive than AHL Rochester American tickets were. It's not worth the money but it is the only hockey unless you want to go up to Washington, down to Raleigh or east to Norfolk.

I didn't know that. You left out Roanoke that's west. I went to a RiverDog game once I came back with a logo hat. We won 3-2 that night. Anyway they don't have many people watching the game in the Coliseum. They come up with plans to get people to come to the games. I haven't heard about building an arena in the Chesterfeild area. They probably haven't even started.
