swflyers8* 05-11-2004, 11:37 AM I posted this in our forum, thought might want to read it:
Are we ever, it's hard to keep track of how many ways these teams are connected.

joeminus 05-11-2004, 07:37 PM Misspells Lecavalier's hometown and incorrectly states (twice!) that Fedotenko set a career high in goals this season. Yet another poorly researched fluffball from the bastion of journalistic integrity that is NHL.com.
Thanks for pointing it out, anyway.
petec1978* 05-11-2004, 08:07 PM A poorly researched factually incorrect NHL.com fluff piece?
I'm sure PantherNation will be quoting it as gospel ad nauseam.

Synthetic 05-11-2004, 10:08 PM The NHL.com homepage had a story yesterday about how the Flyers won Game 2 by the score of 6-1.
I'm thinking the guy writing it went to bed a li'l too early.
Hawkeye 05-12-2004, 01:03 AM Anybody else having the problem of bringing this page up? I just get the NHL.com main heading. :banghead:

The page loads VERY weirdly. Scroll all the way to the right and you should see it.

That's terrible, but it doesn't surprise me, lol! Worse yet is the fact that it got published like that and no one caught it.

That is wierd, and thanks. Didn't even look at the scroll bar on the bottom.

Its a lot better than when "Bolt-Nation" claims a rumor to be "Fact". :lol
petec1978* 05-13-2004, 12:35 AM Sotnos, will you please show the riff raff out through the service entrance next to the dumpsters? Thanks.

Sotnos, will you please make sure this riff raff stops talking trash about "PantherNation", otherwise my post stands as it is. This topic is about Bolts and Flyers being familiar foes I completely fail to see how that shot at "PantherNation" made by Pete has anything to do with this topic but its not surprising Pete would bring it up. :shakehead

Are you saying that you and your Panthers buddies did NOT in fact cite an NHL.com article repeatedly as support for your arguments?
Like this one, that article was flawed. That's a curious pattern, and therefore it's relevant. Besides, glibness is not against the HF rules. Now please go away. We've stopped dropping in on your boards, now kindly do us the same courtesy.
petec1978* 05-13-2004, 10:00 AM What he said... now I've got CSS Finals to pick through. Be a good little girl and run along crossbar.

Sotnos 05-13-2004, 11:00 AM This is getting off-topic, I'll save myself from having to do this later
