Bob Langdon is trying to get his name in the record books as the greatest AHL ref ever. 2 playoff games, and 2 games totally out of hand with goalies leaving the crease and in one case dropping the gloves.

Also, I missed what coach said it, but during the Hamilton game they said that an AHL coach called out ref Harry Dumas saying this guy should never ref again and a few other words for him. If this doesn't carry a big fine in the AHL strick ruling, I'd be shocked. Sorry I don't know what coach as I was in the other room and just head the end of it.

He had a pair of terrible games in the Cleveland/Hamilton series as well, sometimes makes you wonder how ridiculous a referee can get. I still don't think he tops Justin "No Obstruction" St. Pierre, or even the worst AHL referee of all-time, Scott Hoberg. :banghead:

Dave Hansen isn't all that great, either.

That was the Milwaukee-Chicago game in which the Ads had 16 power plays (to Chicago's 8). There are some who said that the Wolves played like a bunch of goons, and there are some who said that Milwaukee got away with quite a bit. I guess it depends on whom you ask. But Harry's latest debacle came last Saturday in the Rochester-Milwaukee series. Once again, he can't let anything go. In the final 10 minutes of the 3rd period, with the Ads holding a 1-0 lead, he called 3 penalties, 2 on the Ads, 1 on the Amerks. The second Amerk power play resulted in the tying goal. The game goes to OT, and Dumas puts the Ads on the PP not once but twice,
and the Ads scored on the second PP to win the game. Great officiating, Harry. Just great!
