My prediction: 4-2 Slovakia

I don't think Switzerland can beat Slovakia, but then again I was pretty sure the Czechs would defeat USA :)

A tough one. 'Upset' is in the air after USA's defeat of the Czechs....I'm going with 3-2 Slovakia...I think they can do because they've shown this whole tournament that they want to be the ones to hold the gold at the end. They want to be there, and that means they have to win this game to go on...we'll see.

Please no upset this time, Slovakia needs to win so that Germany can participate in the Olympics

Our only hope is Martin Gerber. If we want to win that game, he's got to steal it for us.

Stupid mistake by the Swiss defensemen, that would never have been a goal if they hadn't pushed Bartecko into their own goalie.

Can anyone tell me what Gaborik played like?

I only saw flashes of this game, but the little I saw was not very flattering. It was when Slovakia was under 0-1, first he crosschecked or slashed a player and then just after he speared another Swiss players. Not very smart, but the ref did not see it so he got away with it.

Gaborik really did not stand out.

Overall, congrats to the Slovaks, and to our team too. I thought that during the first half of the game, they could keep up pretty well, and that against one of the top favorites of the tournament. Basically, just the better PP of Slovakia decided the game (ours unfortunately sucked during the whole tournament). But 5 against 5, it was a very equal game.
