Hedstrom is in Sweden, he played last season with Djurgården and signed a one year deal to play next season with Timrå. Last season, he had 12 goals and 22 assists. Anaheim still owns his rights.

Tabacek returned to Slovakia after a terrible 2002-03 season here in North America. He's playing with HC Slovan Harvard Bratislava and had 3 goals and 3 assists this year. Anaheim still owns his rights.

Korsunov is still in Russia. He's playing with Spartek Moscow and had 1 goal and 8 assists this year. Anaheim still owns his rights.

In terms of potential of seeing any of them in Anaheim, I'd rate them

1. Korsunov
2. Hedstrom
3. Tabacek

But all three could be a long shot at best.

I could see Murray being quite interested in Korsunov. He had a very good year in the low-scoring russian league and incredible +/-.

Hedstrom and Tabacek are gone.

Yes, Korsunov should be brought over to get a look at how he looks in the smaller rink.. Hedström could also be given a shot in camp. He has looked great playing on the wing of Påhlsson, and they could make a great pair on the Ducks 3rd line..

I would like to see that happen, but will Hedstrom risk another year in the AHL? Given the fact Anaheim has 10 3rd line wingers (roughly) he isn't exactly a lock to make the team.

I would like to see Hedstrom, that guy plays with intensity and he a great skater, i think that eye injury really set him back. He definitely can perform in the AHL. If he could take faceoffs, Id take him over Krog and Holmqvist
