cool.. just trying to see if there would be any interest in something like this.. i can always bring otehr people, who are not into hockey, but thought it would be fun to have a Kings vs Ducks game..

Well, if it's in the summer I might be able to join in. Of course, I probably won't know for sure until a week or two before whenever you schedule it.

BTW, what kind of gear you folks got? I used to play like twice a month when I was living in NoCal, but when I was out east for a few years it was too damn cold, and I haven't played since around '97. So I'll have to invest some money just to get everything up and running again, and even then I'll probably look like an old-school guy with all that old equipment. I'd probably have to get new tanks, and I'm not even sure where my old mask is (I had a first-generation Spectra).

I have a Minimag with a BOA, but to tell you the truth I only got it so I wouldn't get outgunned on fields where you had to have a semi. I much preferred playing with a pump, using my Sniper II which I pretty much tricked out and was accurate as all heck. Besides, it always took a lot more effort to get the mag to run smoothly; I ran a regulator and then a bottomline anti-siphon, but it'd still always get liquid CO2 in there (nitro was still pretty new back in the day), which would throw things off at the chrono. The Sniper OTOH was just screw-in-the-bottle and go.

I probably should have just gone with a remote, but I liked keeping snacks in the bottle holder on my pack.

I rent a pb gun from one of the local stores here. I have only gone twice, so I'm not very good. I am really thin however and sometimes I'm a hard target to hit, and by thin I mean really skinny! :D

i have a spyder amd lcd can go semi, 3 burst, 6 burst, and full auto...
doesn't seem we got much interest in it, so i guess it won't happen until more people would like to join in.

What's the rental fees like for the gear? I haven't played paintball in years...

out here it's like $20 or $30 plus a deposit on the gear ($150 I think) that you get back if it works still.

rental fee if i get to do a private group is $33
that includes $20 for admission and $13 for gun, 1 full tank of CO2, and mask
if you need paintballs then it's expensive there... i usually just buy them for my friends and sell it to them..
