Nothing official yet, but CBC reported last night he "could play in Game Three." Local paper says the injury was caused by a slash. Doesn't sound major.

I looked at my tape last night, watched all of Boyle's last shift and didn't see anything actually happen, it must have been away from the play. In the last you could see of him right before he heads for the bench that he was holding his right arm close to the body and holding his stick in his left, but that was about it. Guess we'll find out tomorrow.

I know he was hit hard by Bégin I believe in the game, I don't know whether he got hurt on that shift

I saw koivu's slash at Vinny's legs, and if i am not mistaken there were a couple of other incidents that occured with habs players slashing. i guess this is the kind of cheap shot crap we can expect from a frustrated team, who must feel that the only way to win is to cause major injuries to our players. I thought the Habs had more class than that.

So any news on if he's ok? I haven't been able to watch any of the games do to working. I always likes Boyle. Hope is is ok.

All I've seen is "day-to-day", "game time decision", "not a serious injury", etc., no further details than that, but I guess he's not hurt too badly, which is good.

My biggest worry right now is Ben Clymer... any news on his status with the Bolts right now?

I think the biggest concern is the popcorn machine instructions in Montreal are all in french. If Ben can get a translator, he'll do just fine as road popcorn server.

Popcorn in French is Mais Souffle. I have no idea how to do accent marks on a keyboard so put an A sound on the end of Souffle. I know because I had to scream these words over and over thru 81 Expo games at Parc Jarry in 1970.

They're saying on tbl.com that WDAE has reported Boyle is in tonight's line-up.
