Paulo Colaiacovo

Any news on Paulo Colaiacovo?
I heard he was going to play in Europe next year, has he signed a deal? or is he still a free agent?

I would love to see this kid get signed, he has lots of potential, but for some reason nobody wants him. The next step could be good for him, look what happened with Andy Chiodo.

I don't think he'll have to play in Europe.

He's one of the best goaltenders in the OHL, has been for the past couple of seasons. He may not get an NHL contract (simply because the goaltending talent pool is so large right now), But I think he should definitely a two way AHL contract, so that he could work his way to an NHL one.

He has to be signed first, and I don't think anyone is really interested right now.
Any thoughs on who could use him?

The Leafs could use him. Don't re-sign Ford and take a crack at him. I would think the Leafs would definately have an inside track on anyone aswell, since Carlo is here and I heard that he's been to a couple of the Leafs rookie camps. Also he's from Missasauga.

I really wouldn't mind seeing him in Wilkes-Barre Next year.
Imagine that Andy chiodo and Paulo Colaiacovo (2 of the OHL's best goltenders in the past 4 years) working with each other, That would be great!
