Stickies?

Are there any stickies I can take off now or should I wait a few weeks?

Be forewarned, everything before September (or October) got deleted to cut down on server load, so things that are unstickied and not posted in for a month may get deleted if they do a clean up again. I found this out the hard way, I had wanted to bump our "Tampa Fan Poll" for the playoffs and couldn't find it! :cry:

You can download threads as text if necessary, if you need help doing that, let me know.

So much posting now, my inquiry has gotten pushed down.

As far as I'm concerned you can unsticky the *Minor League Hockey Time* thread since all things AHL/ECHL are down for the Bolts except for two prospects in Hamilton.

Maybe you can cut&paste my post on Hamilton's Game 1 victory into a new sticky thread called "Hamilton's AHL Playoff Run".

Once Hamilton wins the Calder we can unsticky that thread.

Pete can decide on Euro Hockey Time. There's a year in review article coming today or tomorrow to go with that, but that could be its own thread (non-stickied).

Is HF looking to expand the server load, et cetera any time soon to compensate for the increase of people who visit the forums and site?

a suggestion for the playoffs ...it worked well on the Bruins Board.


Make one stuck thread that contains links to all the threads that are currently stuck.

It clears clutter for the playoffs , yet allows for easy retreival of info. that has been temporarily unstick.

I'm sure they would if they could, but HF is a labor of love for the site owners (and the mods and the staff), so we all just do the best we can with what we've got. They ARE however always looking for ways to reduce the load on the existing server.
