Pavel Bure??

Has anyone seen or heard of any information on Pavel Bure. I know its unlikely of a return, but I neverheard anyting different. Anyone with any information?? :dunno:

its been crazy quiet on the bure front. dont know why though.

you'd think him either getting better worse or the staying the same would draw some attention.

i havent heard anything, but i keep coming back to this board just to see if any of you have heard anything. :P

don't expect it, this was if he does come back it'll just be a nice surprise.

What dont you get? His game was BREAKAWAY SPEED, it's not 1994 and he's not the Russian Rocket. Just like Lindros WILL NEVER be the same, his game is playing physical and using his size which OBVIOUSLY he cant do anymore. Yes he can but this isn't possible b/c if he does play that game then his head will be even more mush than it is now. I think everyone would LOVE to see these two both healthy and playing their styles but sadly both will never be the same, even if they do it will always be one shift away from yet another blown out knee or concussion. Sad but very true.

what people forget is that bure at 20 per cent is still better in an offensive role than 80-90 per cent of everyone else.

the last season he played, he scored 19 goals in 39 games. he played while hurt, may i remind you. he his a goal scoring machine and probably would be until he was 90 if he remained healthy. but alas, he is not. a terrible shame, he truly was the most exciting athlete in SPORTS to watch. to me anyway...

I'm in the same position which is what I tried to explain to whomever had the original post, SORRY BUT ANY RANGER FAN WHO WANTS EITHER OF THESE TWO BACK EVEN IF ITS FOR THE MINIMUM SALARY IS A HAMMERHEAD! The risk isnt there play any more w/ this org. but the risk is constantly having or going after these players with HUGE question marks. Would think at least the fans would realize that. Great post. As mentioned before you should have just replied in the other thread as appsoed to starting a whole new thread with no substance to it. Bure is not coming back, end of story.

WELL MAYBE RATHER THAN YELLING AT EVERYONE WITHOUT ANSWERING THE QUESTION, WE SHOULD CONSIDER THAT RATHER THAN WANTING THEM BACK THEY JUST WANTED TO KNOW THEIR (bure and lindros being implied) STATUS?????

Maybe (now that I'm done yelling at the screen - sorry for the caps), they are concerned that if Bure comes back he is owed $10 MM and that will count against the cap????

Maybe they want to know if he has officially retired???

Maybe they want to know if he has undergone additional surgery and wanted to send him a get well card???

Maybe they wanted to know if he is going to come back and teach Lundmark how to put a puck in the net (sorry for the dig, but my god the kid can't hit the broad side of a barn)?
