ROCKETS TICKETS: How hard to get for game 2 Saturday?

My wife and I plan to make the 5-6 hour drive "to be bored" ( :lol ) by the two best teams in the Western Conference...

Anyone know? I hear tickets are to go on sale at 9:30 am Wednesday.

I'd suggest using ticketmaster.ca, and doing it right at 9:30 on Tuesday, otherwise it'll likely be sold out. Avoid the low corners, especially on the bench side, there's a really nasty glare off the glass that limits your visibility at the far end of the ice. Out-of-town fans tend to wind up at the south end, behind the visiting goal and in section 112 (which is also the no-alcohol section.) And don't worry about any of the crap that happened to you in Vancouver re-occurring - you'll get some kidding about being Tips fans, but I've never seen anyone act unfriendly towards a visiting fan of a US team.

Staying at the Royal Anne. Anyone stayed there before? Is it pretty close to the rink (walking distance)?

We should be up there Saturday around lunch time (provided of course we do actually have tickets by then!).

It's walkable (assuming the weather's nice), about five or six blocks along Water Street. The Royal Anne is a very good hotel, and right in the middle of downtown, so if you have time to kill there'll be no problem finding something to do.

Lucky dog! We'll be expecting a full report when you return. I've heard that Kelowna has a nice facility and that the fans there really love and support their hockey. Please share your impressions when you return.

Looked up section 107 on the Rockets website. Not bad. Probably should have ordered a pair myself.
