I decided this will be my thread to talk about my socks and the streak. Last year, my socks took the Ducks to the Stanley Cup Finals. 27 straight days of socks on. And I'd do it again, which I am for the Barons and their first playoff run.

Day 3:
Status: Wrote "Go Barons!" on each side of the socks.
Smell: Unnoticeable.

Day 4:
Status: Writing is still there, the bottoms start to blacken from running outside with no shoes on.
Smell: Unnoticeable for now.

So, you're planning on smelling worse than than the entire bench before this is over, eh? When this goes back to the Gund, Pixie and I will be glad we sit across the ice from you!! :lol

Someone's counting their chickens before they hatch. The Roadrunners had a winning record against Cleveland this year and you're looking past them? You'll be lucky if it goes to three games now after you jinxed 'em like that. ;)

As formidible an opponent as the 'Runners may be, the Barons have bounced back from losses continually all season. Toronto had our number earlier on in the season, but, if I recall correctly, the more recent games towards the end of the season were won by us. :D

And I'm not the one jinxing the Barons....it's a89mogilny89 and his putrid socks!! :lol

In all seriousness, I can't wait till tomorrow night....it's going to be one HECK of a game!!

GO BARONS!!!

Status: Muddy from golf this morning.
Smell: Picking it up, starting to get that goose feces smell from the course. :dunno:

Rita's broken ankle seemed to have kept Toronto off of its offense, but it was really Nolan Schaefer with a career night, stopping 44 of 45. He stands on his head, and the PTO line wins it in Double Overtime. Best game I've ever attended. :D

Hey HockeyGoddess, think we can un-sticky this one and get the division semifinal Cleveland vs Hamilton thread started?? Play starts Tuesday night in Hamilton, and I couldn't be more excited, seeing as how we went 5-4-0-1 against the 'Dogs in the regular season!! :handclap: :handclap: :handclap:
