This tournament is taking place in Oslo this week. If by chance someone gets to see any of the games, I'd love to hear about Andrei Kastsitsyn # 23 on Belarus.

I'll only be able to find game stat info but would prefer comments on his overall play.
Belarus defeated Belguim today 10:0 but Kastsitsyn was held pointless with 3 shots on goal.

I`ll probably watch the Norway - Belarus game on Friday. I`m pretty excited to see Kastitsyn myself, so I`ll keep my eyes open and let you hear how I feel about him when the game is played.

Any info on how he plays would be great. I've never seen him play but those who have say he has the potential to be an offensive gem. The knock on him is that he's clueless when it comes to neutral and defensive zone play but he does play with some aggressivenss and grit. Whatever you can post would be appreciated.

Yea..I remember hearing last year that Kastitsyn could very well be the most skilled player in the entire 2003 draft, but due to some medical problems he fell to the Habs at 10th overall (?). Too bad they don`t show other Belarus games... Anyways, looking forward to Friday!

Vet du noe jeg ikke vet om Patrick Thoresen? Han spilte 2 meget bra kamper mot Storbritannia og Ungarn. Forstår ikke at et NHL lag ikke har sett potensialet og draftet gutten... Skal forresten spille med Shampo i Djurgården neste sesong. Kanskje noen speidere endelig får øynene opp for Patrick da.

Well...what can I say? It looked as if it was Patrick Thoresen and not Andrei Kastitsyn that was drafted in the 1st round last year. Kastitsyn was almost invisible and had a pretty bad turnover that led to a Norwegian chance on a Belarus PP in the 3rd period. Besides from that he looked big and he actually went to the corners and fought for the puck. I`m sure he`s got amazing skills with the puck as well, but unfortunatly he didn`t show it last night...
