I still don't know, but Prestin Ryan of Maine signed with the Blue Jackets today.

Columbus won this battle - there was interest throughout the league - including from the NYR as I posted weeks ago.

Figures...

Must have been projected to be a top line player. Gotta save up for those 3rd and 4th tier prospects. :shakehead

save it.. we already signed Pock and there were about 12 other teams in contention for Lessard, we were one of them that's all we can ask

I guess Lessard cares more about money then having one of the best chances to play in the NHL. With Dallas he might get a shot maybe next year, but not this year and he prolly wont be an impact player for 2-3 years.

Dallas is a veteran laden team going into the lockout.

Its very possible that they jettison alot of the older players in favor of younger, cheaper ones, especially if they lose in the 1st round.

I think its likely Dallas dumps alot of veterans before next season and opens up the roster to younger players.

Ha, who wouldnt at that point. If the Stars and every other team were willing to give him top dollar then obiously they all feel he is good enough to play in the NHL. So he basically already made it into the league, all that was left was to get paid and he did
