Andrei Mezin's team???

Does anyone know what team that Andrei Mezin(starting goalie for Belarus in 2002 Olympics) is currently on?? I know that he used to play for the Berlin Capitals, but is no longer on that team. I think I heard that he was in the Russian Super League, but does anyone know what team???

he was on kazan´s roster for 02-03, but didn´t play a single minute.
he had signed a contract with kassel from german DEL league, but then it was found out he had a torn ligament in his knee.

later this season he signed somewhere in czech rebublic, but don´t ask me which team... :dunno:

It was to HC České Budějovice of the Czech Extraliga.

fan75 is right, great! ;) I´ve just checked myself. The name of czech (and slovak) leagues is in both cases "Extraliga".

Yeah, that's the team website. The above websites that Sputnik posted are for the Czech and Slovak associations/leagues.

It also should be noted that Budějovice won't be in the Extraliga next season. They lost the promotion/relegation series with Dukla Jihlava and will be playing in the 1.liga next season.

trade rumors in austria say, that he maybe will play next year in vienna, for the vienna capitals.
