Has anyone seen Erik Christensen play. The Penguins seem to be pretty high on him, how does he look.

Iv seen him play once. Game 7 of the first round series in Winnipeg. I thought he was easily Brandens best player. Created a lot of chances scored a beut of a goal and was solid in both the offensive and defensive zone. Was a factor on both the pp and pk. has a tremendous shot and good playmaking skills. He needs to however work on his speed however to be a signifigent pro.

As far as I see things. If you are playing in the Dub at 20, your probably not going very far. His point production dropped dramaticly this year as a 20 year old. Ouch!!!

Segal played in the dub until the age of 20, and I think he's got a good shot to develop into a solid NHL player

christensen's going to have to get bigger, more muscle, more physical, and more committed to playing an all around game

him and filewich both.. sadly, filewich with a great all around package will be hard pressed to impress any of the pens brass without a serious attitude and work habit adjustment...

erik too, but too a lesser extent, atleast christensen was drafted in the mould of what he will always be, a speedy scorer.. filewich i'm sure was drafted (as well as when he started the draft year ranked high) as an all around package, size/skill etc...
