The good ole boy is finally retiring. Although he played with us for only one year, he was a key member and one of the reason we got so far last season. Lets all give the good ole boy a finally applause and cheer.

Rucchin has been the most important center-ice man for this franchise in their history. When you look at his time centering Kariya and Selanne, up through last year when he was a huge part of the Ducks march to the Cup Finals. Oates has had a better career, but in terms of contibuting to the success of the Ducks, Rucchin's better.

:handclap: Sad to he him go, but what a career is was. He should get in the hall, and he's arguably the best player to go undrafted.
Wierd, though, that he signed with Edmonton for less than what BM offered. Maybe he could've helped turn this season around, if he was here.

I think it had more to do with the style of play and who he would be playing with than anything else.
