Devils Win Hyundai Hockey Challange

Tuesday's 5-0 victory over the New York Rangers allowed the Devils to capture the Hyundai Hockey Challenge, a competition between the three NY-area teams. The Devils won their last four contests versus area teams, two against each team, to edge out the Rangers.

Here are the final standings:
Devils 7-3-1-1, 16 PTS, (4-1-1-0 vs NYR) (3-2-0-1 vs NYI)
Rangers 7-4-1-0, 15 PTS, (6-0-0-0 vs NYI) (1-4-1-0 vs NJ)
Islanders 3-8-0-1, 7 PTS, (0-6-0-0 vs NYR) (3-2-0-1 vs NJ)

The Isles are 0-6 against the frigging Rangers? Not even one point???

If the Sabres beat them out for the last playoff spot, they have nobody to blame but themselves.

Yeah, and Brian Leetch got traded to Toronto and helped the Maple Leafs beat the Islanders. Leetch is 7-0 in games against the Islanders.
