Lupul for sure will score more goals..Chistov may turn his career around and get more assists in the long run than Lupul...I dont really know anymore...

Personally I think Lupul has more "upside". Neither overwhelm you with work ethic. But Lupul has better size, and is more of a sniper. Chistov is a better stickhandler (but Lupul is no slouch.)

well it will be Lupuls sophmore year.. Chistov had a slump this year, and i hope he turns it around.. at least he is using his body more.. if they keep lupul with feds, then i would go with lupul though..

Chistov has more talent than Lupul. Compared to Chistov, Lupul's strengths are his work ethic and his size. Don't know if this is enough to outscore Chistov in the long run...

I don't think Pavel Ros- I mean Chistov will ever be fast enough or strong enough for his size. He's too little and puts himself in bad situations on the ice all the time. Lupul has the best shot on the team after Fedorov. He is big enough and has good moves with the puck. Once he gets his decision making down, and gets bigger (which won't be a problem for him) he will be a first line player for the Ducks.

Chistov just showed too little this year. Last season he was the most exciting player to watch on the ice. Now, he can't even score in the minor leagues. The size issue is a big problem for him. He either needs to get a lot faster or a lot stronger/heavier. And Chistov needs to learn how to shoot. His shot sucks.

I think Lupul will be better because of his size and shot. Chistov could a good player, but nothing better than Sergei Samsonov. Lupul could be more like a smaller Heatley.

This is the comparison I had in mind, and btw it's not that bad if Chistov become our Samsonov thought... :D

If Chistov becomes our Samsonov that would be great!!

Lupul has a much better shot...he will score more goals in the long run because he shoots better and shoots more often...I dont know as far as points...

His size didn't stop him last year, it's hard to say what Chistov will do. He has shown he has what it takes to play in the NHL, with Babcock around I think he could still be a good NHL player, Stan has an important off-season coming up he must get committed. If he can just get in decent shape before camp he will be a much better player.

I still question Lupul but as long as Fedorov is feeding him pucks I believe he will continue to develop. The one thing Feds does is he puts Joffrey in good positions to score and thats something we can't say about anyone else on this team...the only other person that has that potential is Chistov. So in my opinion the better player Chistov becomes the better Lupul will be scoring wise.
