He needs three more... This man needs to hit the 40 mark.

Also, Nash scored his 40th today.

Terrible news. What was Marshall thinking? :dunno:

Note: Burns wasn't too happy last game when Atlanta tried to 'goon it up'. This team can't take any more injuries.

Scatchard is down. Can't put pressure on right leg. Blocked a shot behind knee it looks like.

DiPietro just robbed Kozlov....

Brodeur just made a good save.

Good shot by Aucoin at the end, but no go. That whole 2 points behind Philly is KEY - but the two games against Boston are going to be messy.

Go big or go home. Let's see what this NJ can do going into the playoffs. I don't like the fact guys are dropping like flies though. :(

Gomez earned his 300th NHL point by assisting on Niedermayer's goal

I caught the last two periods. ( to the NHL Network) Good Devils hockey today. There were a few nervous moments in the third, but they were able to hold the Isles at bay. Man that EGG line just zips all over the ice and they are a lot of fun to watch. They seem to create something everytime on the ice. One comment from Chico was how if that line doesn't have control of the puck, they are always in hot pursuit of it, which I did notice too. Hopefully the Marshall and Friesen injuries aren't overly serious. Lou looks good on getting Kozlov and Hrdina now, if those are serious enough injuries. Only two back of the Flyers now for that division crown. Man that would be so slick if we could get pass them. That home ice advantage would kick ass.

Went to the game. EGG line is electric, they're so confident.

Shockingly, Brownie has won me over. Not only did he play a solid game, he seems to have found an extra gear.

It looked like Giroux tipped in the Isles' 2nd goal, did he? He has a habit of doing that (last year against the Wild and Flames, IIRC).

With two forwards out, the team really had to work it's ass off. This team's work ethic never ceases to amaze me.

Plus, Patty has 76 pts. in 79 games, closing in on PPG.

How did Giroux tipp in that goal, he didnt even have a stick........Oh and by the way Scotty Gomez with those 3 assist now is tied for the league lead in Assist with 54 Assist. I believe if im not wrong, and Patty is now only 3 behind Nash

If Marshall is out for sometime, Jiri Bicek will be in the line up and there will be no Rats coming up to the Devils... BIG win tonight by the Devils... They are just 2 points back now and actually the Devils contol the division now believe it or not. With a win on Tuesday over the NYR the Devils will have 3 more wins and will be tied for first place... Devils do now control their own destiny... Flyers will continue to CHOKE! I see the Flyers losing to Montreal and possibly Ottawa...

HEY FLYERS, CAN YOU HEAR THE KNOCKING???

I am sure you can... It is the New Jersey Devils coming right behind you and taking the Altantic Division again!
