Who's favored to come to Kelowna?

The Rockets won there first round and will start the next series Friday April 2nd.

Gatineau or Cape Breton. I'd give CB the advantage on paper but the Olympiques are the defending Q champs. So they might have a slight edge.

It's a 3 team race.

Gatineau, Cape Breton, or Moncton can all beat each other on any given day. A lot of things will be factored into who wins eventually(injuries, suspensions, who plays who, etc) but I think you can argue that any of those 3 are favorites.

Then there is a second tier that includes PEI and Rimouski who would need some big performances from unexpected players to beat one of the top 3. PEI has Alain Vigneault, Rimouski has Crosby so nobody is counting them out yet because of those 2 factors.

My prediction is that Gatineau plays Moncton in round 3 and Cape Breton plays Rimouski with the winners meeting in an epic final where hopefully Marc-Andre Fleury is the difference in a Screaming Eagle championship.

I think that the Eagles will win because of Fleury and Houle if they need him. They have the best goalie tandem in the Q. Rimouski could surprise with Lavallée who had tremendous playoffs last year but the team will need to play a better defensive game. We will also need the real M-A Pouliot...

I would put Moncton up there too, they're the most underrated team in the playoffs. Don't underestimate them just because they're in the same division as Cape Breton.

I personally want to see Rimouski, as does the rest of this town... lol... :yo:

Sounds like a heck of final, but you never know about Crosby and Rimouski. I watched this kid in the WJC and highlights on TV and he can put a team on his back and you never know?

i'd put Cap Breton and Hull as clear favorites, with Moncton behind.. but i just can't see Moncton winning it all.

Most likely Gatineau, possibly Cape Breton but I would be surprised.Rimouski doesn't stand a chance of beating these powerhouses, Crosby is great :bow: but he doesn't have enough around him.
