Babcock to coach Canada

Today CTV Olympics reported that Mike Babcock will be behind the bench for Canada next year at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. It’s expected to be announced later this week in Montrčal. Babcock has led the Wings to back-to-back Stanley Cup final appearances, winning it last year and losing in 7 games to the Penguins this year.

He is the right choice.
He has a winning record, he has shown he works well with vets, has done an outstanding job teaching a sound defensive system to an offensively-loaded team.
Hitchcock will be an excellent assistant coach, too.

they may not win in vancouver, but, rest assured, they will not be outcoached the way they were in Torino
