The Prince George Cougars won the lottery and will pick first in this years bantam draft. Are there any standouts in bantam this year who might be considered as a consensus first overall selection? Names I have heard that might garner attention include:
Forward - Leffler
Defense - Kerr
Goalie - Sexsmith
Any input on prospects is appreciated.

I hear great things about this Sexsmith kid, but I really haven't heard much out of the bantam leagues this year.

we don't need a goalie, IMO we need either a game breaking forward WITH SIZE, or more noteably a defenseman with size, leadership, and oh, say hamhuis like qualities :p

Brett Breitkreuz lead the South Sask AA hockey league in scoring this year with 82 points in 28 games. He's a huge kid and is very talented. And like I said earlier, Kyle Severson, who is likely related to the Duck's Cam Severson, is eligible this year. He's also a huge kid, and got 53 points in 27 games.
I don't know if TJ Keeping is eligible this year, but if he is, he'd be a good pick as a goalie. Same with his Notre Dame counterpart Antione Desrosiers. I haven't seen either play, but Keeping led the league in GAA and Desrosiers was second.
Also, is Jon Roy eligible for the Dub because he played for Notre Dame, or can the Q only select him? Either way, he didn't have a great year, and will likely go for the name only if selected.

Look for them to take a kid out of Surrey...
I think that's where he's from. Can't remember his name though.
