Hollwegs hit?

I've been hearing a lot of talk about Hollwegs hit on Stone from friday nights game. I just need to hear some of your guy's opinions on if it was a cheap hit or not.

I say it wasn't a cheap hit. I was at the game and I clearly saw that Holly had clean hitting techique. Stone should of had his head up and had his chi strap done up properly.

It was a CLEAN hit. Stone was unlucky that as he fell his helmet came off and he hit the dasher boards, then the ice.

The ref, who was a joke all game, didn't call a penalty, which was one of the only things he did get right that game.

Listen.... I'm not bashing refs. But he did have a bad game.

I just wish refs would stop trying to manage a game and call what they see.

Ok... I'm not willing to get into a Ref debate here... no disrespect intended.

I know they have a difficult job to do and no-one notices all the things they do right.

I also understand the the WHL is a developmental league for officials too......

..... but ;) ..... stop trying to even up the calls. I don't care if the Tigers get 10 straight penalties... call them.
