BC, MAINE DOMINATE ALL-STAR SQUADS
But five different teams represented on diverse First Team
Somebody mentioned Redline said Tom Pock had to be drafted but I think he's gone through at least 2-3 drafts unselected so my guess is he's a UFA next week. If NJ signed him he could play the final 10g,not sure about playoffs but I don't think so.

Winning a Hockey East regular season title does not come without having plenty of individual talent, and the Boston College Eagles proved that theory this season, naming two first teamers and four second teamers to the annual Hockey East All-Star squads. BC teammates and Hockey East’s leading scorers Ryan Shannon and Tony Voce made up two-thirds of the first team’s forward line, while CCM Hockey East Player of the Year Steve Saviano of UNH completed the trio as the only unanimous selection. On defense, it was the offensively-gifted Thomas Pöck of Massachusetts and Stephen Wood of Providence garnering first-team recognition, while Jim Howard’s record-setting season at Maine made him the first team’s goalie.

The second team featured three of Howard’s teammates – forwards Todd Jackson and Colin Shields, and defenseman Prestin Ryan. Together, the Black Bears recorded 10 shutouts, twice their previous high, and limited Hockey East opponents to just 1.75 goals per game, the best defense ever. Rounding out the second team were three BC players – forward Patrick Eaves, defenseman Andrew Alberts and goaltender Matti Kaltiainen.

The Superskills Hockey All-Rookie Team was as diverse as the All-Star first team, identifying seven rookies on six different teams as honorees. Included among those were defensemen Kevin Schaeffer (BU) and Cleve Kinley (UMass Lowell), and goaltender Jim Healey of Merrimack.

I want POCK

BOSTON- University of Masschusetts hockey player Thomas Pöck (Klagenfurt, Austria) was selected to the All-Hockey East first team, as announced by Hockey East this evening at the conference's awards banquet. Pöck becomes the first Minuteman to ever receive first-team All-Hockey East honors.

A Hobey Baker favorite, Pöck ranks first nationally in scoring (38 points), goals (15), assists (23) and power-play goals (10) by a defenseman, and easily leads all Hockey East defensemen. Pöck has scored in 22 of 35 games this season, including a four-point game (1g, 3a) in UMass' 6-3 win over UMass Lowell in the Hockey East quarterfinals. InsideCollegeHockey.com named Pöck the top defenseman in the country on March 10, while he finished second in INCH.com's preliminary Hobey Baker voting. He has virtually rewritten the UMass record book setting school records for career points, goals, assists, season points, goals and assists by a defenseman. He was named a second-team selection last season after scoring 37 points (17 g, 20 a) as a junior, and has now tallied 75 points (32 g, 43 a) in his final two seasons in Amherst.

Pöck will lead the Minutemen into the Hockey East semifinals tomorrow night at the FleetCenter. The third-seeded Minutemen will battle fourth-seeded New Hampshire in the second game on March 19. Face-off is slated for 8:00 p.m., with the winner drawing the winner of Maine and Boston University in the finals on March 20.

I don't see Lou making a pitch for him. It will allready be a fairly large bidding war for him.
