Where are you guys drinking before the game?
I am thinking of McGovern's, but if the weather is ****** thats a little too far of a walk and I might do up Scully's.

Im gonna be tailgating but,without the grilling in one of the lots.

Don't knock it until you've tried it. :laugh: Actually, for example, in the gateway lot, like one person works inside the garage, you could probably walk around with it if you wanted, as long as you didn't offend any business people. A little too dank for me, though.

I don't know what part of m-town you live in, but if you do want some Camo, I'm almost positive the Liquor store on 36 behind CVS (the one across from KillingTime Studios and Pumps) has it. I promise it's worth it. One 24 on the way and I'm feeling chippy by the time I get to Penn and you have the longer ride.

I usually go with a Bud Light 40, or a 6 of Keystones for the ride.. I just hate the full feeling from malt liquor

I've never been there and these girls were pretty trashy growing up.. Mostly druggies

As do I. I don't think you're technically supposed to, but no one says anything.

We tend to brown bag it anyway, just so it's not too blatant. But we've had cases of beer on the train plenty of times.

I dont think it's illegal. I'm sure it isnt on the LIRR, because they set up a mini-bar right on the train platform for the 5pm crowd.

Thanks for the info guys. I guess i'll be making a stop at the liquor store before catching the train. Then i'll probably be hanging out at Hells Kitchen to wait for my friend.

I've actually never had Labatt, I've heard it's pretty damn good though. As long as it doesn't taste anything like Fosters. That **** is horrible and it smells like Dingo piss. :laugh:

Speaking of which, what happens if the game goes multiple OT's? During the week the trains stop running around 1:30am and there's obviously potential to go beyond that. Is it basically just "leave or you're beat" or will NJ Transit run some extra trains?

They still stop selling beer at the start of the 3rd. That's the real nightmare to consider, not the train schedule.

The Spot on Commerce St. has $3 domestic brews until game time, I will probably do the Scullys, Spot, BCB&G shuffle, starting around 4:30.

Ive said this before, but its something about it in cans that I like. I don't drink it out of the tap, or out of a bottle. But an ice cold tall boy is great! Maybe the crappy beer mixes with the aluminum and creates something, I don't know.

Plus the train is one of few "public" places it's acceptable to drink, not taking advantage of that is a travesty.

I had no drinkning problems in the parking lot yesterday. Then postgame was at Scully's. Now we can haz the best of both worlds!:yo:

I haven't been there lately, but in the beginning of the season I went to 60 Park Grill (I think that's the name) a few blocks away from the arena. It's basically right across the street from NJPAC. It's a real fancy/more upscale place, but there are always fans in there with Devils jerseys.
