Worst play ever

On the main board they have a worst play ever post and I figured Calgary
Devil would get off on what I wrote here.

Honorable mention goes to Kevin Dean, who Calgary Devil will tell you made the worst defensive play ever on Patrick Marleau. It was so bad Dean looked like a piece of Marleau's jersey just following him along. He couldn't have stopped a 3 year old in a bank heist!

Whitey's defensive mishap in game 6 against the Sens was pretty bad. But Redden (I think) gave it back in game 7 so all is well.

what about Gomez sending an errant pass to Foote in game 6 (or was it 7?) which led to the opening goal? Absorb the hit and send the puck UP THE BOARDS. sheesh.

I am not sure it was totally Slava's fault there. If you look at other goals that BRodeur has let in lots of them have been behind the goal line. The 94 one for sure, and the Graves goal in 97 in game 6 or 5 in O.t. was from behind the net!

I think I got it. I don't remember all the specifics but the time Lyle Odelien scored on our own net, Marty was pulled on a delayed penalty and that klutz threw a pass back to Marty not realizing he wasn't there. I believe it was against Ottawa too.

Back then you had to score goals behind the goal line or you might have the goal taken away for having a TOE in the crease.

Like Guerin did 3 times in that seires
