WOW! awesome job, what soes something like that run you? Being a goalie is expensive already....I hope he gets some good years outta of it when i played my goalie'd parents had to ask the entire team's parents for help for just "stock" or "play it again sports" stuff because it was so hard always growing and and maintaing equipment that may have broke or needed repaired.

Of course we all ehlped cause he was damn good(we played at a pretty high level on Li we were the same age as higgins and Komi growing up on LI) but I wonder how many kids that are really good and have potential but just cant afford it. Anyways sorry to get off topic but its gotte be expensive....

To answer a couple questions I got here and via pm:

The mask is a promasque xdk

It was done by Ryan @ royalessex.com who is local (there is something to be said to have a local painter) He got it done in about a week which is amazing...most painters have a minimum of a 3 week turnaround. Usually more. He's a Devils fan and took my concept and ran with it. The only thing I really designed was the way my name is painted on the chin area.

Getting a mask painted can cost anywhere from $100 for a solid color to $1000+ depending on the level of detail and who paints it.
Almost all of my equipment is second hand, so overall it wasn't too bad. Thank you, tax return.
