When Brodeur is healthy and returns, he'll be in the net, and that's all I care about.

It isn't so much Brodeur as it is Paul Martin and potentially the shot blocking animal Brendan Shanahan who have to remain healthy.

Will Lou be able to move Pando? Is that realistic at all? May not matter so much for this season, I mean the guy would be a good "black ace" for the playoffs, but next year...

I don't think there's a lot of value for a guy that isn't wanted on a team. Seriously, think about how other teams look at it.

True... so by that logic, though - nobody on the Leafs roster has any value.

I don't know why, I think it's pretty obvious those will be the three scratches and Salmela will be sent down once everyone gets back, though I'd prefer his upside over Greene's lackthereof I don't think the staff wants to put a kid with potential in the pressure cooker.

You can't dress three goalies, Lou wouldn't send Weekes down to Lowell (and he wouldn't make it there anyways with how inexpensive his contract is) and he's not going to let Weekes go out of charity. Clemmensen's earned the backup role with his play.

That logic doesn't always apply, some teams have different needs. Not that it would ever happen but I think the Flyers would kill for one of our three goalies right about now and two won't be playing very much (one not at all) :p:

I'd keep Weekes as the backup lately. He's 5-0 in his last few starts. I mean don't get me wrong, Clemmer has been more than anyone could have imagined, but I'd go with Weekes.

Weekes is a lot better than Clemmer at playing once every month. I'd give Scotty a big thank you, a hug, and trade him to the highest bidder.

As for Pandolfo, he has value since despite the fact the Devils don't need him, other teams will. It's not like the Devils are the worst team in the league with no depth and Pando is scratched--we're one of the top 5 in the league without Marty, and Pando doesn't play because we actually have too much depth.

yeah Minny or Baston..............or any playoff team that needs a shutdown winger, its just his salary thats a tough sell.....he's paid too much for what he does

Who knows, maybe Buffalo'll come calling for Kevin Weekes if Miller's hurt for a while (he's got a mid-ankle sprain that'll keep him out at least a couple weeks) and Lalime's been very unreliable.
