Yeah losing Beauchemin hurt our defense bad, although we still managed to put up a good stretch of games just after he was hurt.

I honestly think if Murray had of waived Marchant/Morrison and used the salary to help pick up someone like Witt or Jackman we would be in a completely different situation. Although Burke trading OD in favor of keeping Klee didn't help.

So now we need to outscore Detroit by at least two in the third period to get any points out of this game. Somehow I don't see that happening...

Where's the energy? I feel like we need to play our 3rd/4th liners more to get more energy out of this game.

Exactly. Whether Lidstrom gets a penalty on the trip on Teemu or Zetterberg on the delay of game is really of no consequence. They didn't deserve to win and wouldn't have, even if we had paid the refs.
