He is nicknamed "Husky" because of his dog-like appearance. His family were big fans of the hit American tv show "Benson" and thus a logical progression was to name him Kent, after former Hoosier star Kent Benson thereby completing the circle.

He's a solid 5th or 6th D man. Last season many of us felt he had #3,4 potential as he had a great season, but this season he hasn't played quite as well.

He's great at carrying the puck and literally can go end to end with it in the blink of an eye. Unfortunately, this season he hasn't done much of that. IMO he's got the skillset to be a good #3,4 D man, but when he is given that much ice time his game suffers, especially his decision making.

Good 6/7. Last year he played well enough we thought he could be a #4, or at least a #5 (anchoring the 3rd pairing). This year he's seriously regressed.

Fast skater, has shown a Bobby Orrian end-to-end skill, but only a few times. Not particularly good at decision making with the puck though.

I don't think Husky regressed so much as he didn't progress to where a lot of us thought he could go. Carlyle's system works well for the 5/6 pair. He was put in a spot that wasn't suited for him and he struggled this year. I'm afraid he lost his place on this team once he got injured. But then again Mikkelson hasn't been strong so Husky may have one more kick at the can once he gets healthy.
