Jiggy looked alot better tonight, the fourth line was very good although I don't think Brown looked very sharp, I was far more impressed with Carter and Miller.

It sucks that we played that period pretty well and still give up the first goal.

Who knows a flying **** about the lines when they are switched 3-4 times every period and half the team are AHL'ers.

I don't mean to be negative, and I know its his first game, but Brown is terrible. Brookbank I haven't seen enough of to really comment, but wow, I don't like Brown right now. I'm beginning to see what Canuck fans were on about with him.

Oh, and sometimes i'd like to hear Hayward say "the Ducks are playing bad at the moment" instead of "The Ducks had many opportunities toenter the opposing zone this game"..

Luckily nearly the entire team is a UFA next season. Unfortunately Carlyle is not. I think he's lost his marbles.

Good ****ing question. Not making any excuses for this team. They ****ing suck, Carlyle should have been fired a month ago, and our defense sucks balls. Our GM has been a complete but since he got the job. Did a whole bunch of minor deals to basically switch McIver for Brookbank. Got rid of Sutherby, a guy who played with heart, for nothing. Anyway, it seems like every couple of games is always a back to back. Does each team have to play a certain amount of back to back games? It'd be interesting to see how many the Ducks have played compared to others.

The playoffs are not over, but hope is almost completely gone after this loss. We lost to two teams under us, and we've played 5 games more then most teams below us. It's not over, but it's almost over.

Just thought I'd post this on this thread since I don't know where else to post it. Seems like Carlyle was happy with the way Jiggy played. Sounds like he's going to play next game. Check the blog on the ducks website for the link. It has RC's comments on there.

I didn't think Giguere played too bad. He was left out to dry on a couple of the goals, and one was kinda questionable. I didn't see him as any better or worse than Hiller really. I'm actually a bit worried though, I know Jiggy is a better goalie than that. His head's just not this year, and it shows.
