i laughed my ass off.

what? im not sure if im following you. zubrus pushed patty with his stick to move him forward? was there any significance to the push??

it looked like when you push your buddy on a sled to make him go faster, helping him.

I specifically remember that play because it was great. Zubrus tapped him with his stick to let him know that he was there and that Patty could go ahead and forcheck instead of sit back and guard against a defender coming late. When Patty realized it was him, he skated full force at the opposing player in the zone.

"Go Patrik, get to da choppah"

Zubrus was pushing Patty on purpose because he was trying to get Patty back into the play faster, a lot of guys sround the NHL do it.
