Why sit Rupp if he's the only one that can actually kick someones ass if 22 starts to go crazy. David Clarkson is more then capable of doing the job but his game has picked up and he's actually cycling the puck with his linemates and looking to pass the puck to the point instead of putting his head down and going for that always terrific "wrap around".

I can honestly say that with the addition of Shanahan and the removal of Jay Pandolfo (one can only wish), we have a very very very solid lineup.

Most likely. They'll probably hold on to him until the deadline os they make sure that Marty is fully recovered. There is no need to have 3 goalies and it wouldn't be fair to have one scratched every night. With Frazee playing well down in Lowell there is no need to send clemmer down there. One of them is most likely going and right now I think Clemmer has a bit more value.

And thats just one line. Holik who aggravates the **** out of everyone, Rupp who is turning into one of the best heavy weights in the league, while playing his heart out everynight, and Shanahan, well he's Brendan ****ing Shanahan.

Yea, but why else are they still going back to him. Weekes was solid in his last two starts, while Clemmer's been struggling a bit, but they're going right back to him. He's unofficially their #1 right now.

I dont think anyone is celebrating, i think we are just happy that we have such a complete lineup now. Actually, i am celebrating, because i know for a fact that this will spark pando's electricity and he will play like him old self again. Thats my take on it.

It's sad to see Pando sit after how awesome he was last year pre-injury. I really don't see the need for Shanahan, but I guess he will at least help our PP.

Right now he is the right choice to sit and I applaud Sutter for making the right decision here. I Feel the Same way, its sad to see this treatement towards a guy like Pando, but at the end of the day, i think everyone can agree that he was the right person to sit at this time.

I think it was more of a celebration that Pando was the one that deserved to sit NOW. I think everyone knows what Pando has done for this team over the years. Noone is arguing that. They are simply happy that Rupp deserves to be in the lineup the way hes been playing and Pando has been invisible all year. Relax noone (at least from my perspective) forgot what Pando has done. i am, and he deserved it. Rupp has outplayed him for a solid month and a half. When he gets his chance again he better show up. When Rupp was benched and came back he played with a passion we hadn't seen from him for some time. He stepped up his game. Now its Pando's turn to do the same.

I don't think people are celebrating because it's Pandolfo in the sense that they don't like him or anything like that but in all honesty one thing that everyone should be glad to see is the fact that Pando's tenure and experience does not give him preferential treatment here. Right now he is the right choice to sit and I applaud Sutter for making the right decision here. That said, there is half a season left, if Jay gets his game back I am sure he can work his way back in to the lineup.

Seeing people cheer and praise Sutter's decision to scratch Pandolfo makes me sick. Have people all of a sudden forgotten everything the guy has done for the organozation and the team over the 12 years he's been with us?! Show some respect for crying out loud!

I can understand the new fans, that started following this team in 05 or something...but the long tenured fans?! C'mon people...

I'm not arguing against the decision to sit Pandolfo, not at all. It's the right thing to do and he hasn't played well this year. But at least show the guy some respect. You don't have to cheer and celebrate like crazy. Pando has been a warrior for us and always a team first guy.

Pandolfo has been our worst forward this season and 99.9% of this board were crossing their fingers that Jay would be the one chosen instead of Mike Rupp. We all understand that Pandolfo has been a big part of this organisation but it's time to smell the coffee and tell it like it is. Pandolfo is not helping his team at the moment and alot of us thought that he'd get a "special threatment" cause he's a veteran. Sutter and Lou have a ship to run and if a member of his staff isn't providing the help needed RIGHT NOW, you cut his ass.... no matter what he did in the past.

Pandolfo is out today and should be out until we see one of our bottom 6 players suck ass (ala JayPan)... period.

I'm not a big college basketball fan until March (or college football until January). When I was there, the boringball season was winding down. You think they would talk about the games themselves. No. They talked around the game. I mean, is it so difficult to just show the highlights of the game and then move on to the next game. They spend 15 minutes analyzing one ****ing game and then crammed all the rest of the games into a five minute time frame.
