As for Shanny, in his interview with Cangy last night, he basically said he's going to play his first game either on the Island or in Nashville. My guess is Nashville, because then he can get one more full practice with the team. That said, when you've played over 1,650 professional games, I think practice with the team is a bit overrated, but I'm still going to guess Nashville.

There really is no excuses not to play Weekes, the goalie who gives us the best chance to win RIGHT NOW.

Also, Weekes has played very well VS the islanders. Sutter cant say "oh well he hasnt started in a while so back to back games would be bad for him" when he has started Clemmer back to back vs good teams. If anything this would be the perfect oppurtunity to start playing Weekes back to back, because the Islanders are terrible at best. i really dont want the isles to move:(. im much much more a dev fan than i am an isle fan, but i was brought up during the isles heyday and my whole family has been rooting for them since inception. itd be a really horrible thing if the nhl allows a team with such a great history to dwindle off into oblivion and move. if they were simply to get a new arena, not even the whole lighthouse thing but just the arena, it would instantly raise eyebrows and create a buzz. what with the ****** play that earned them the tons of picks they have in the hands(including the top 3 theyre in line for) and a new arena they could rebound and again be a top team. the management, while slightly insane, really does want the team to stay here and they wanna spend big bucks. i really hope they figure something out.
