Hey Devils fans! Friendly Canucks fan here. Thought I'd chime in about our projected lineups and such. There is a chance both Pyatt and Salo could be back for this game but that's not confirmed. They're taking part in full on practices so let's assume the best.

If Pyatt is indeed back, I assume Raymond will be a healthy scratch. The effort is there but he's trying to do it all himself so he really needs to watch from the press box for a game or two to learn how to play proper, smart hockey. If Salo isn't back, Nycholat or Davison will take his place depending on whether AV wants to go with a more physical lineup or not.

I'm really looking forward to this game! I think the Devils and Canucks are two very similar teams with several parallels. Both teams have a superstar goalie (probably the #1 and #2 goalies in the league), both teams have a rejuvinated offense this season - led by Elias and Parise for the Devils and Daniel and Henrik Sedin for the Canucks - and they're roughly in the same place in the overall standings (#10 and #11 in the league). It should be a competitive game and since neither Brodeur or Luongo are playing it won't be a goalie showdown so I'm hoping for some goals!

Sorry for the long post and with no further ado I give you my prediction:

3-2 Canucks

NJ goals: Gionta, Rolston
VAN goals: D. Sedin, Bernier, Bieksa

nearly all goals against clemmer are big fat juicy rebounds that he pops right back out into the slot or circles... only a couple have been clean shots that beat him on the first try. I think his pads are made by Wham-O co.

Maybe Clemmensen is the guy some guys are upset with? I know that that was probably an overreaction on our part, but we all heard rumblings about a lockerroom issue. Clemmensen has been kinda cocky about his recent success this year and has talked about his abilities more so than the team's on several occasions.

I'm not implying anything here really..it's just could be a possibility that Clemmer's success might've got to his head and his teammates maybe noticed?

Clemmer has no real value being that he's a free agent and he's untested. You'll get minimal return from him. Better off keeping him as a saftey net incase Marty's arm isn't fully healed.
