John McFarland AND Hall on the team next year?

We all know Taylor Hall is a virtual lock to make it. How about John McFarland? I know we've barely popped open a bottle of champagne on the 2009 tourny but what the heck let's talk about McFarland since he's a good bet to be a top 5 or so pick in 2010

After all, he was stellar in the U17 tournament. Helping his team win the gold and getting two goals in the final

Maybe.... Canada is going to have a really good team next year....Kane will be fantastic

I'm sure Hall will be there. McFarland will have a really good shot as will Duchene and Schenn

Honestly, I'd say McFarland has an extremely slim chance at making the team as it stands right now.

Obviously things will change, but I would be very surprised if he made it.

Any chance Duchene and Schenn will play in the NHL next year?

I know it's very early, but I'm liking the looks of our team next year, in our quest for a 6pack (seriously, 6 in a row? that's just sick). Hall, Kane, Eberle, Benn, Ellis, Duchene, Schenn, Cowen, Ferraro, Kassian, and likely Olivier Roy in net...wow.

I agree....he needs to pick up his game in other areas other than the offensive zone.
