Voting for Kearns, however terrible he was in his own end of the rink he does hold or share a lot of Canucks offensive records for d-men.

Add Doug Halward.

Voted for Smith. He was outstanding (albeit briefly) which is more than I can say for most of the players left on this list.

Voted for Gelinas. Add Rick Blight. Back to back to back 25+ goal seasons and led the team in scoring one year.

I've been voting Kearns for a while. He's like an elite Brent Sopel, sure, but people still voted in Jovo and he was horrible in his own end.

However big of a scapegoat he was, he accomplished a lot in Vancouver.

I voted Gino. May not have the talent of others still remaining. Talent being a relative term to begin with. But he was such a big fan favourite. And he had a big impact in a lot of games in terms of how teams lined up against the Canucks and how much attention Bure got.

I was the only one to vote Butcher? I find that kind of surprising.

I would vote Gelinas, but knocking the Canucks out of the playoffs while playing for the Flames taints it quite a bit.

Like what exactly?

Career record of

109W - 68L - 24T/OTL/etc.. 14 SO

Like it or not he was an excellent goaltender for the team. Sure, people are going to come in and say look at the team he played behind.. it was excellent.. sure, offensively it was, but he had to hold the fort down for the many brain cramps by the likes of Sopel, Jovo and Malik.

I think we're nearing a point where write-in votes should be considered. Past this point, the pool of mediocrity is pretty deep and due the limitations of the poll, we're unable to add a multiple number of players at once that should probably be on.

How about if somebody wants to vote for somebody not listed they can abstain from voting in the poll and just post "WRITE IN: Players Name"?

Looks like we might need a run-off between Kearns, Odjick and Gelinas.
