David Frost was found not guilty Friday of sexual exploitation following a trial at which his defence argued group sex is common in hockey but that Mr. Frost was never involved in such acts with his players.
Mr. Frost was charged with four counts of sexual exploitation relating to his time as a coach of the junior A Quinte Hawks team in eastern Ontario in 1996 and 1997.
Two of the counts of sexual exploitation alleged Mr. Frost directly or indirectly sexually touched two teenage players, while the other two alleged Mr. Frost directed the players to sexually touch their girlfriends.
...
In delivering his decision, Ontario Court Justice Geoff Griffin suggested that the women's testimony was "possibly tainted by collusion."

britdevil 11-28-2008, 01:51 PM Wow.
Classic Devil 11-28-2008, 01:53 PM Frost should be taken out and shot, although my preference for his punishment would be considerably more extensive and painful.

Big#D 11-28-2008, 02:11 PM Not to defend Frost but I could see this coming. When they discussed this on CBC radio during the trial a month or so ago, it was pretty apparant that the girls testifying were not believable.
They essentially said that he controlled their minds. But then a couple players said that he didn't force them to do anything and that they had group sex with the girls without Frost even being around.
I don't know what to believe in this case but from what I heard, it was pretty clear that the testimony didn't meet the burden of "beyond a reasonable doubt"
MoonDragn 11-28-2008, 02:14 PM Whatever happened to innocent til proven guilty? Remember the Salem Witch trials were started by a bunch of testimony from girls too.
Not saying he's innocent either but he's been proven so by the courts and until they have enough evidence you can't condem the guy.

You can, just not via the legal system.
lucscaps 11-28-2008, 03:12 PM I would like to throw the name Mike (Jefferson) Danton out there for those that think Frost is innocent till proven guilty.
He has clearly ruined this young man.
Clearly.

I think this kid was pretty screwed up all by himself, but no doubt theres some evidence that Frost had something to do with it. But like I said, legally, its innocent til proven guilty.
OJ finally got his, the guilty will always pay in the end.

MoonDragn 11-28-2008, 04:12 PM Heh, sounds like this guy took mind control to the next level...
DevilsFan38 11-28-2008, 10:18 PM I hope someday he gets what he deserves.
