I think the plan was to have Weekes, originally. But Clemmer played well last night. So by most people's standards, Clemmer would play again. But then again, he didn't get the shutout and maybe that isn't good enough for Sutter.

Barely tries? Did you see him last night? The way he rushed back and covered up for Salmela after Anssi screwed up? And then banged the puck off the boards and out of the zone.

The guy also hustled up to beat out an icing call and kept the puck in the zone for a good while. He's great along the boards and solid with the puck. His defensive game has been so much better lately.

I don't think you've been paying that much attention to his game lately.

I just wish he'd get more icetime, and some on the PP too. He'd definitely do some damage there. But hey...Sutter sucks, so it's not gonna happen.

Bringing the relentless forecheck, playing for 60 mins, and not blowing a 3rd period lead gives a much better chance to win. Been a little rocky, but looks like they're finally getting comfortable in Flash's system.

"I'm not going to be negative towards Petr whatsoever," Sutter said. "Petr, when he's played, he's been fine. It's a situation where there's things in his game, like all young players, he needs to continue to learn and continue to improve on. But that's not a negative things. All young players go through it. We have some young guys. We're giving them all opportunities to play."

Well if you realize that Madden made a few mistakes against the top players in the league vs a rookie who made mistakes against an opponent's forth line, you can see that there is no comparison.

No, it makes us ridiculously inconsistent. There's no difference between scoring 5-2-1-1-0 goals than there is 2-2-2-3-0 over a given five-game stretch.
