USA Hockey has announced that Buffalo, NY will host the 2011 World Juniors.

No doubt the proximity to the border will mean that lots of Canadians will come. But Buffalo has had some recent success hosting big hockey events in its own right, such as the Winter Classic last year, and the 2003 NCAA Frozen Four tournament.
