It's getting past the point of where you can even ignore it anymore. I have a feeling they'll regret not cultivating STH's this year... especially next year. Everything $70 and under is moving. Everything over is stagnent. It's just dumb pricing. Basically, the center mezzes and the back 3-4 rows in the $95's will be empty. BTW, the scattereds in the balcony are in ROW 2, so if you ever spend $65 for an overpriced balcony seat, now is the time. But no way this game sells out, no one is going to buy those $100 and $95's tomorrow, they will go home without tickets, buy scalps, or just not go. Talk about bad timing. No, I meant that cheapies were selling well. Expensive tickets aren't moving. I don't think anyone's going to be sitting in the $95 Mezz sections, the $100's are actually fairing better. I would expect the building to be at or near 100% full in the uppers, balcony, $70 mezz and expensive CI seats downstairs. I would expect the back rows of the lowers behind the nets to be empty, as I would the CI's mezzes. There could be 1,500 seats available or 250, it's really hard to tell. njdevsfn95 10-09-2008, 11:38 PM i think there comes a time when the economy is a real reason for attendance. no one will doubt that Detroit's economy isn't very good and definitely not what it was 10-15 years ago when they had 17000 STHs. a lot of people that live in NJ work in NY or work in large businesses that are directly affected by whatever happens on Wall Street. hopefully at some point during this season (sooner rather than later, of course) we see the Dow hit its lowest point. if my minimal market knowledge serves me well here, companies will have to release their 3Q reports soon. the only good thing is everyone already knows their going to be god awful and it wont really be a surprise on the market that's had record drops (points, not %) more than once in the past 3 weeks. i want there to be a sellout. but realistically a lot of people on the fence have probabl said "TV is a lot better than $15 for the train or park and overpriced food....not to mention the ticket price." trueblue9441 10-10-2008, 04:00 AM You took the time to do that?
