lucscaps 10-03-2008, 01:15 PM Wow this is impressive, there are some seriously good teams up there.
goin2hell 10-03-2008, 01:23 PM The all Canadians win the cup!...mind you, the drafted team is pretty solid too.
Richer's Ghost 10-03-2008, 01:24 PM Classic - you truly either have too much time on your hands, or a massive collector of trading cards. :)

Meh, this is easy. It's all in my head.
Edit - I've got an excel list of all Devils players who played for New Jersey, games played, and point totals. I use it for reference.
Now, creating an All-CHL team would be hard. I'm not touching that one.
JimEIV 10-03-2008, 01:35 PM How about All NCAA???
Brian Rolston - Zach Parise - Bill Guerin
Aaron Broten- Neal Broten - Randy McKay
Jay Pandolfo - John Madden - Doug Brown
Mark Johnson - Brendan Morrison - Brian Gionta
Bruce Driver - Paul Martin
Brian Rafalski - Tom Kurvers

Corey Schawb***This was a mistake --NOT NCAA

22ShouldBeRetired 10-03-2008, 01:57 PM Hey Classic wasnt Driver a Rockies draft pick ? Thats still technically the Devils right ?
Classic Devil 10-03-2008, 01:58 PM Hey Classic wasnt Driver a Rockies draft pick ? Thats still technically the Devils right ?
I was counting Rockies as belonging to a team other than the Devils, since the instruction said Devils and not franchise. Aaron Broten was another Rockies pick, so was Tapio Levo.
22ShouldBeRetired 10-03-2008, 01:59 PM and Aaron Broten also
lucscaps 10-03-2008, 02:01 PM Terreri has been listed here as a Canadian and an American.............can we get a ruling on that?
Classic Devil 10-03-2008, 02:02 PM Terreri has been listed here as a Canadian and an American.............can we get a ruling on that?
I was wrong, Terreri was born in Rhode Island... something I knew, I think, but I'm so used to putting Terreri as my backup I didn't think about it. Replaced him with Burke.
22ShouldBeRetired 10-03-2008, 02:03 PM roger that
Gunnar Stahl 30 10-03-2008, 02:04 PM Terreri has been listed here as a Canadian and an American.............can we get a ruling on that?
born in the US, makes him american, that the way i see it
Big#D 10-03-2008, 02:06 PM Terreri has been listed here as a Canadian and an American.............can we get a ruling on that?
Ruling: He was a mediocre goalie that had no shot at either national team. Both countries disown him.
Edit: Born in U.S., played in NCAA, played for US National team (I guess they liked mediocre goalies). Therefore he's a Yankee.

I must say, the NCAA team is a good one too! Lines need some tweaking, but overall, very impressive!

For defensemen, could add Rafalski. He is an easy one to overlook because he started in the NHL with the Devils...I believe he was signed as a free agent and not drafted.

Ah, that one was all drafted by others. I mis-titled it.
StevensFan4ever 10-03-2008, 06:13 PM Maybe add Phil Housley, although his stay was short.

Ugh it wasn't short enough - that guy drove me nuts.

curious, why? He was brought in as PP specialist and did the job rather well I thought? He improved NJ's PP a lot in the little time he was there.

he did help some, but he didn't play the best defense in his short stay.
JimEIV 10-04-2008, 02:53 PM he did help some, but he didn't play the best defense in his short stay.
sure...But you don't get a guy like Housley to be a shutdown defensemen right? He was there to generate offense.
