A pretty eventful interview with Patty today, probably more than what they bargained for. :)

Interesting part about Marty becoming a fitness freak this summer, might explain the pics we've been seeing.

I think Marty realizes that he's not 24 anymore and if he wants to keep playing at a competitive level past 37 and beyond he's going to have to stay in shape. Or Avery really got to him, because when he was called fatso he must've realized that he was indeed fat. Or his Genevieve and the kids told him to keep it together.

Either way, good for Marty, now I'll start working out too, I was just waiting for him to do it.

That's what Fischler said (during the MSG preview show a while back) Marty's intentions were when he talked to Marty after hearing he hired a trainer for the offseason

Yes it is. Patrik is lucky that the five-oh didn't catch him.

Would have made for an even more classic interview.

Definitely a good interview and a bit humorous as well. I take it he lives in NYC.

Now why do you put up a picture of Johnny O in a Patrik Elias thread? Why do you do that?

Johnny's the one who introduced Patty to Ghetto-Tooth technology. He doesn't have Elias' kind of money so he had to improvise ;)

Lou tried to do it too but they don't make rubber bands big enough for his cell phone

From the side, he kind of looks like Jerry Minor to me.

Nothing is legal once our crooked politicians figure out how to "tax" it.

I don't see why he would?! I mean it'd be a hassle even to get to Newark from NYC. Maybe he just went to NYC for his day off.

It happened here in Canada. Mike Pinball Clemons was a running back in the Canadian "Football" League and he was the head coach of the Toronto Argonauts up here. One day he's on the Fan590 and he gets pulled over by the police right in the middle of the interview. He's like, hold on guys I just got pulled over and he's talking to the cop while he's on the air lol.

I have never understood why everybody is so ga-ga for pinball...

That interview was hysterical, I heard it live by chance, couldn't believe it... Elias's little news report was the best thing on the Fan in years, maybe he will replace stellick and landry on their pathetic morning show if we ask nicely and give him a fire-proof apartment...

Pinball is cool that's why. He's attitude is just infectious.
