It's true that Roussin stats are inflated by the fact he plays on the same line of Crosby but remind you in that he was drafted 5 overall because he was a sniper.

Good player with heavily inflated stats.

I was going to say that I could get that many points on Crosby's line, but a fire hydrant works too.

He did go a point a game when Crosby was at the WJHC (but they only won one game in that eleven game stretch), so there is definitely some skill there. To say that his stats are somewhat inflated from playing on Crosby's line is a definite understatement.

Roussin DESERVES to be top 10 in scoring IMO. Maybe you or the fire hydrant should play the other wing and you'd have a line of "all 50 goal scorers" -or 51-50-25-25 if you shared icetime equally with the hydrant. ;)

Roussin made 38 points in 38 games in Rimouski last year @ 17, while he was playing with Pouliot. Roussin is talented too and he can create his own chances. Without Crosby, I would not have the same amount of points, but would be superior of 1 pt/game

That's why I made sure to point out that even when Crosby was gone, he was a point a game.

There's no questioning that there is talent there... top 10? Probably... top 2? Not likely...

No one is debating Roussins talents, because he is a good player.

Danny is going to be a good player some day, but Crosby did have a major affect on his numbers but hey if you were playing with Crosby and you didnt put up those type of numbers then I'd have to be concerned about that.. not that the kid put so many points up. I'm happy for him I hope one day he makes the NHL and is a great goal scorer there as well.

Roussin is a sniper and im sure if he wasnt there to puck that puck in everytime that Crosby wouldnt have as many assist. Maybe crosby helps a little more but they must feed off each other
