Thanks for sharing this article StreakingRed. It's nice to see that Getzy hasn't forgotten the Hitmen and the Calgary community that helped him get to the NHL.

Cool T-shirts. They should sell the shirts and donate the money to the charity that selects the kids.

They should also give out bald-caps to the kids along with the T-shirts.

Getzlaf (and his BFF Perry) demand a trade to Calgary to be closer to his charity! Names I heard coming the other way include Chucko, Bertuzzi, Warrener, Nilson, and Eriksson. (E4)

Good for Getzy. That's a nice thing he's doing. Although part of me wonders if it would be nicer to do this in an area that isn't already hockey-mad, just as a grow the game type thing. But then again, it might mean more to kids who are already hockey-mad. It's also a "give back to your roots" thing. And you can't go wrong with underprivileged kids.

I also didn't realize that the Hitmen were related to the Flames.
